The Clean Air Workshop will bring together people and organisations interested in minimising air pollution and securing a clean air future for Victoria, including local community members, interest groups, industry, government and air quality specialists.
Attendees will collaborate to identify opportunities to improve air quality through to 2030. Solutions identified will be critical in informing the development of a comprehensive Victorian Air Quality Strategy in 2019.
The workshop builds on proposals received in response to the recent Victorian Air Quality Statement – Clean Air for All Victorians, and the Victorian Government Clean Air Summit held in Melbourne on 27 August. It is the last in a series of four regional sessions being run to help ensure regional Victorians can have their say in the Strategy’s development. Attendees will be supported to outline goals and actions to potentially be included in the Strategy.
The workshop will be held at the Morwell Bowling Club, 52 Hazelwood Road, Morwell. The workshop will run from approximately 6.00pm to 8.00pm, with doors opening at 5.30pm. Refreshments, tea and coffee will be provided.
